I agree with pillow, we are all grown men here and (hopefully) we can all take constructive criticism but unless the trade talks are going on on the cbox for all to see we shouldn't be talking about who offered what and for who.

I agree about the dirty laundry. It shouldn't be aired in the open. This can create issues and actually is a violation of our rule to respect one another. This is something that needs to stop right here. Please keep the intimate interactions of your trades among yourselves via PM. We don't want GMs tipping the hand of another. The trade commentary requested of GMs is just basic information to give onlookers a vanilla idea of what a GM is thinking, not intimate details, which are being disclosed in these "bashings."

I don't see the need for the bashing or whatnot but I font mind open comments about trades. Honestly when I make a trade I look forward to others commenting good or bad. Heap us learn and makes up happy or sad about trades. We made the trade man up. Now saying I offered this and you took that yes leave out of it but givin a small review on the players traded I welcome. Adds more to the league

Agree with most of what is said here.
I also don't think players that were involved in talks need to be brought up after the fact.
I will say however, with some trades, they are based on a praticular GMs timetable. Meaning someone may feel the need(or have fully founded reasoning) to move or aquire a certain player based on either their needs at the time or when they feel a player will hit a certain stride or go against a bad string of teams. The same could be said of players coming off of or going onto IR.
