Montreal receives: Vlad Namestnikov Peter Cehlarik 3rd round NSH 2015 #26 pick 2014 (from dispersal draft)
for
Buffalo receives: Bobby Ryan
We've re-worked the trade, with MUCH greater value going to MTL/Dave.
We need Ian to add the 26th overall pick that BUF took in the dispersal draft to MTL's team roster, rather than mine.

I confirm.
Mistakes made on my end in assuming a wider audience to my Fantrax trade block. I will correct this in the future.
I think BUF deserves credit for sticking with it rather than bailing and moving on.

NOW I am officially PISSED OFF seeing f*ck*ng RED!!!!
If I don't see a Ryan deal where MTL receives a young, high end piece like Strome, who is in the the NHL now, PLUS a first OR with Cehlarik and Yakimo, THERE WILL MOT BE ANY F'n deal!!!!
This is the last chance I'm going to give. I have NEVER denied a trade TWICE. After this, I never will again. I'm trying to be nice, but Buff you are officially on my BAD site with this SHIT!

c'mon now, Ian...that's pretty harsh.
Namestnikov IS definitely a high-end prospect, and he'll be in the NHL just like Strome or whoever next year. ....a 1st rounder (in NHL terms) was included, Cehlarik was included, and an additional extra draft pick was included...
The amount of value that Namestnikov has....that should be enough right there to justify this trade. Sure, "Strome" or whoever, may have a higher ceiling, but Namestnikov has a huge ceiling as well. NAms is rated highly everyone in hockey.
Nams was my prized prospect for most of last year, and I turned down HUGE offers on him....leading me to believe that most others in this league ALSO value him that highly.
Please stop the anger....

you said Strome plus a first OR Cehlarik....I included Nams (almost equal to Strome, and who knows how things pan out...they're both 2nd liners anyway based on who their #1 centres are on their team), AND a first AND Cehlarik....

Dave wanted Cehlarik/Yakimov/draft pick earlier....vetoed.....we understood that. That's okay.
Dave asked for Namestnikov, my 2nd best prospect. Dave definitely wanted Cehlarik in the deal. We added a 1st rounder and a 3rd rounder....the 1st is significant, the 3rd was small value.

Let me be CLEAR cause harsh is exactly where we're at. A high-end KNOWN commodity, a top 45 player, at least per Dobber's rankings, in the PRIME of his career, goes to you and you can't even give this guy a high end talent like Strome back for his NHL roster? You think packaging a B grade prospect like Vlad , who is stuck on a forward deep team and also has the Russian factor, plus some promising, C+ grade forwards is a fair deal for Ryan? You have provided no one of any substantial pedigree for a player who has done more than any of these combined. None of the guys you are giving in either deal are guarantees to make it to the NHL. They are called PROSPECTS for a reason. Insulting, disgusting and ridiculous. I am done with this!

Dave L is away for a few hours, and I'm going to bed right away....we'll sort this out in a few hours.
@dave L....sorry for all the hassle while you've joined a new league...it's not usually like this.

There's definitely no intentional fleecing going on. Dave L asked for these players, we added the 1st rounder.
To the league: I'm sorry for all of this drama...it's totally unnecessary, and not malicious on either side of this deal to cause trouble. Dave and I chatted, without any "pressuring" talks, and agreed on this trade...he has his reasons, I have mine....
I'll talk to Dave when I'm up in the morning and see what we want to do about this.

I'm also unsure why this is purely looking like it's my (Trevor's) fault? There are two sides to a trade. Dave and I will chat in the next 10-12 hours....I'm up in six, but go to work then...so we'll talk shortly.

He should not be put in a position where he needs to do "just enough" to make the deal look good. This is my own opinion but I still see no blue chip talent or blue chip draft picks included in the deal.

To the commish(es): Please don't veto this trade...Dave and I will talk and fix whatever "needs" to be fixed.
