NSH-DET Trade

NSH trades the 2014 DET 2nd rounder and 2014 NJD 2nd rounder to DET

for

Thomas Greiss (PHO)

DET was looking to add picks in the 2014 draft and NSH was looking to solidify the franchise G situation by adding the big German netminder.

Detroit agrees to this deal. With the situation in NJ more concrete with Schneider entrenched as the number 1 goalie and the emergence of Scrivens in the platoon role, there was no longer any room for Griess. Looking to make roster space, picks were exactly what I was looking for and Nashville delivered.
