Tampa to confirm

So this was a pretty hard trade for us here at Colorado to make, we're giving up our cornerstone defender for what is essentially Brassard and Vatenen. Smith and Hodgson we consider similar in value, but cody has a bettter upside, upside doesnt help for a team looking to compete now though. The added FOW Brassard brings in will be important to the club moving forwards and Sami will be a great addition to our minors D corps.

Samuelsson was also our best prospect and literally everyone we spoke to has inquired about him.... he gets replaced with hard working Danault who will hopefully get a cup of coffee next season and be full time the following year.

Tampa accepts

Loosing two quality forwards like Brassard and Smith isn't easy but im gaining a elite Dman in Doughty who will become untouchable in Tampa. I also am a believer in Hodgson and expect big things from him moving forward.
