PITTSBURGH sends:
W - Matt Frattin D - Erik Gustasson 3('14) Chi
NEW JERSEY sends
W - Teemu Selanne W - Brett Ritchie
I accept.
NJ really wanted Frattin, a young winger with a bright future. I really didn't want to lose the young guy. Teemu comes back my way. He hasn't had the best year, but I'm hoping he explodes for a playoff push. If not, he and Frattin may be a wash in production until the season ends. I hopefullh protect myself in 2 yrs - no Teemu around with Ritchie. NJ gets added upside to Frattin with Gustaffson, who should be Timmo's heir and a 3rd rd pick.
NJ to confirm.

yes i accept. thank you for the back and forths.
As Pit mentioned this probably benefits both teams but only time will tell. i might be kicking myself at seasons end with selanne scoring finally last night and him saying he will probably be back next season, but i believe like most frattin has a bright future and a long one at that. losing ritchie hurts but he is buried in DAL right now where i see atleast 2 forwards infront of him. I do hope gustasson can be the replacement bc that would really help my weak backend.

Review:
Don't have much to say other than what I said below. Both teams accomplished what they set out to do.
WINNER: TBD by other TBIM GMs.

Review:
Not a believer in Gustafsson but he is a decent stop gap option, I do however like both Frattin and Ritchie so with the addition of Selanne the short term winner IMO is PIT but long term is still to be determined as to how Frattin and Ritchie pan out.
Short term winner: PIT
Long term winner: TBD

NYR i think you got this deal backwords. I moved selanne to the pens for frattin. and yeah i might have lost this year on the deal and next but i am hoping that frattin sticks and keeps up to a 60 point pace for another 10+ yrs. with the other additions i made yesterday i felt that selanne could be moved for a bit younger. hoping the other additions pick up any slack.

IDK about 60 but I think you got yourself a solid 45- 50pt C who has 70pt upside and hes young. Not bad at all.
