Not to be outdone by CGY and STL.
Montreal trades:
Ryan Johansen 2nd rounder MTL (2012) 5th rounder TOR (2013) Michael St. Croix
For
T. J. Oshie 1st rounder LAK (2012) 4th rounder LAK (2013) Jon Merrill
I give LAK credit. He's a persistent GM. haha.
Almost forgot the reasoning.
Well, Johansen is a future beast. I wanted to get back in the first round of the draft. T.J. is a young gun with a good upside. Merrill is a solid Dman prospect (of which I only have 2) and St. Croix has the potential to light it up. The other draft picks balance it all out.

Accept! lol thanks Blee
I'm psyched for this trade, as everyone who's had Johansen should know!

Big props to LAK GM, by the way. very smooth dealings and I appreciate it, since I tend to be an extreme OVER-analyzer.

wow NYI - talk about disrespecting a fellow GM. There is a way to post an opinion without being outright rude about it.

True enough, actually he thinks it's pretty funny that he's somehow stayed competitive in the standings while losing all these trades... Somewhere, at this very moment, Ryan Johansen is chuckling...
