I accept, upgrading my C. I lose a #1 G, but gain a future 1 G and i'm back in the 1st rd of the 2012 draft.

This is getting out of hand. It makes sense and all but goalies aren't that important (as shown in Lundqvist trade)..This is a lot more fair without the pick swap. I'm not even sure if this league's trades are supposed to be close, but there have been a few now that haven't been. Then again I guess there's not many vetoes so I better get on ripping somebody off before it's too late.

NYI I wouldn't call this deal out of hand.
Out of hand will be the bidding war I hold for the NYI 2012 1st rounder...

Not calling it out of Hand but I do agree with nyis here a bit. That pick trade was not needed but this is what they worked out and a starting goalie even playing badly is a starting goalie

First off, when the hell has Pittsburgh ever been abbreviated PGH? Trade makes sense for me. STL needed a starting goalie badly as his yahoo stats would indicate and could take the hit on assists lost from Kopitar as STL is middle of the pack there. Bernier is playing god awful right now, a lot of people have lost faith and he's a back up, so his value is less then a starting goalie of the same age in Varlamov. Kopitar might be the better player right now, but in minimum of a year that could change and Duchene is 4-5 years younger. Its two 1st line centers, one is scoring higher, one is much younger. And as of right now the 1st is the 18th pick. I see the talk sort of going, Kopitar and Bernier for Duchene and Varlarmov But Pitts said, Duchene could easily turn into Kopitar and on top of that I've got to take on a player like Bernier(Can't take the risk on not getting starts), then I'm going to need something more. Since STL knows NYR are a good team losing the first doesn't really hurt.

Great trade, both of these GMs. I love how both teams got a player with bust potential (Duchene may never be as good as Kopitar, but Bernier may not even make it in the NHL). LOVE this trade boys.
