I have some concerns with your roster setting... I pretty much went back from now through to Dec.
I will be posting this in the violations section of the forum as a means for others to learn.
Van has had some questionable starts with Dub and Khabi, starting one over the other when the benched tender is starting. I took into account the nature of the handcuff, but his entire body of work, regarding his starting and benching of goaltenders trumped my initial thought of overlooking the "tricky" handcuff/starter situation.
What further forced me to not turn a blind eye to this is that Van is one of the most active GMs on the site. He is online quite a bit, like me, and should get more of these right than wrong by checking a rotoworld or any other goalie start site 10-20 minutes before a game. From my view point, Van is getting too many of these wrong. That situation is further heightened by missed Fleury-starts.

Started Dub over Khabi - Khabi played
01/02
Started Khabi over Dub - Dub played
- i really wanted to overlook this back to back start, thinking that Van simply made an error, which he very well may have, but a similar situation took place only days earlier, 12/26/11: Started Dub over Khabi - Khabi started and 12/22/11: Started Dub over Khabi - Khabi started.
01/05
Santorelli on the bench with a C spot open
Dub benched vs. Stl - I didn't count/tabulate this in his warning, giving Van the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he didn't like the matchup - i can deal with that here and there, but not numerous games. With the matxhup in mind, i also gave thought to Dub not being an elite tender to ride, so okay, i can buy this sit.
01/07
Grabovski on the bench with a C spot open
Dub starts over Fleury (vs. NJ) and Khabi (vs. Dal) -- * sitting two starters - 10% *
01/08
Montador on the bench with a D slot open
01/10
Dub starts - no Edm game, Fleury on the bench with an open G slot
Grabovski on the bench (he scored a G) with an open C slot
01/11
Perreault on the bench with an open C - spot. I should have counted this, but i overlooked it, considering how frequently he's been up and down this year.
B. Johnson starts while Fleury and Khabi on the bench - * 2 starters on the bench * ... the second time this has happened in 4 days (a second offence in the same scoring period - 20% warning).
01/13
B. Johnson starts over Fleury (vs Fla not an intimidating offense). Fleury wins - stops 25 of 26 shots .962%
-> These G starts a VERY troubling to me, especially this scoring period as NYI is up on VAN 9 to 1 with 2 days left in the week. NYI onkly has 1 healthy G and is up .0.59GAA / 41sv / .976sv% in goalie cats to Van, who has yet to attempt a goalie start or make the effort to compete.
Van is sitting 10 out of 20 in G cats. Imo, his team is better than this.
As i see it, his team shouldn't be getting beat like this. The fact that NYI has been horrible with setting his roster this week and he is handily beating Van further confirms the mismanagement of his team.
