Wow I wouldn't have come close to giving that. That's insane. He was great playing top 6 minutes but it doesn't look like he'll be in the top 6 down the road. We'll see though.

Accept.
It's been a busy day here at the ranch... who knew.
Keep the offers coming.

That's fair, but the 1st is only 20th overall, and with Selanne Blake and Hagman all off the roster within a year or two, there should be a spot for him in the top-6 IMO... Who knows what kind of player I could've gotten with the pick? And I still hold picks 11 and 23... not too worried about what I gave up...

I watch every game. He played with Getz and Perry, played really well, but didn't produce. He COULD be there long term, but Palmieri's a big step ahead of him offensively. Etem's pretty much guaranteed a top 6 role 2 years from now as well. Selanne's gonna be back this year I'm sure, Koivu's re-signed for this year as well, and then there's Ryan. I mean I can't say for sure right now that DSP is outside of the top 6 down the road, totally depends on offseason. I'm just saying that's a pretty big price to pay. Although it's a good point that long term it's gonna be a completely different looking top 6.
