Chicago - Vancouver trade

Chicago and Vancouver have tentatively agreed to the following trade:

To Vancouver: Stempniak + 2014 5th (CHI)
To Chicago: 2015 2nd (VAN)

From my end, while Stempniak is a very serviceable player, a mid-range 30 year old just does not fit into my rebuild.  I've decided that the age structure on my team needs to fit the profile of my goalies.  So while there will be some tough years ahead in Chicago, I'm excited about the future.  Another 2nd round pick in 2015 should help in my quest to becoming respectable.  I hope Stempniak can contribute to Vancouver's anticipated playoff run.

25 points isn't that far. If one has a terrible week and one dominates you can make up a lot of ground
