This deal is all about kopitar for me, hes the young proven center ive been looking for. Dan Sedin comes back to toronto after after hopefully using up his poor weeks in pittsburgh. Didnt like to see rick nash go as im a big fan of his, but his rescent hot streak meant for a good time to deal.
Looks like a good deal for both sides as pit adds some great depth here for a playoff run.

PITTSBURGH accepts. Hard to give up Kopi, who can contribute in every cat, but I am going for it. What made it a little easy giving him up is the fact that LA doesn't score much which is the name of our game. If he was on a different squad, his numbers would be off the charts. in exchange, i get Big Joe who is an assist machine on a better scoring team and recently signed, assuring I get a few more years out of him. Mac gives me some nice depth point wise and at 28, he'll be around for a while. Nash, I traded a couple weeks ago. That was a mistake, and I saw it in my team's scoring vs. Buf. All in all, I walk away with an elite goal-scorer, elite assist man and one hell of a depth player.
