Boston agrees to trade:

Chris Stewart
Tomas Plekanec
3rd in 2014 (BOS)

Toronto agrees to trade:

Kyle Palmieri
Travis Zajac
Ryan Stanton
2nd 2014 (BOS)
4th 2014 (VAN)

Boston made this trade to simply gain some youth and a few more picks to hopefully help in future trade talks (or worse case scenario, simply make picks). I dont think Zajac/Palmieri is too far down a step from Plekanec/Steward, but thats why Stanton is in there. I like Stanton (and I know Torts is a big fan of his as well) so he will be an added asset to my blueline going forward.

Slight upgrade here on my center as well as opening up some roster space.
Really hoping stewart is traded at the deadline and gets back to the min he deserves to be playing. A deep St.louis team isnt a great place for any fantasy hockey player.
didnt like losing palmierri and his minor eligibility, but hes only about 15 games away from being full time pro. so that wont help me come playoff time.
