Nashville Predators trades;

Joni Pitkanen, Martin Frk, Christopher Nilstorp, and the 2014 NJD 2nd rounder to MTL for Patrik Elias.

NSH wanted to add another veteran to the lineup for the playoff push. Adding Elias is hopefully the key to keeping old man Jagr happy in NSH.

Montreal accepts. We take a risk that Pitkanen can come back next year as a valuable asset, we get a young forward with potential and a minor goalie who's closer to the pros than any of our goalie prospects plus an asset in a draft pick. All about accumulating assets for rebuilding team. Thanks for doing business Mike.
