Chicago - SJS trade

With a very heavy heart, Chicago sends Max Domi + Jake Allen to SJS.  In return, Chicago receives G Sergei Bobrovski.

Anyone who's followed me since September knows I've been whining incessantly about not having a starting goalie in this league.  While my instinct was just to forfeit all G categories this year (given the special draft upcoming in 2015), I just couldn't turn down the chance to acquire an established, legit G.  While I'm a bit nervous that Sergei is only signed for one more year (i.e. KHL factor), I decided it was a risk I just had to take.  Both Allen and Domi are very hard pieces to let go, but as I said, I just couldn't turn down this particular offer.  Thanks to SJS for the productive talks, and good luck.

I confirm I have had a priority from day 1 to aquire some top end center men as I've learned that is next to impossible. While trading away a youn starting goalie is hard to do I feel I haw added an elite c prospect who is close to playing in the NHl and also adding a high end goalie prospect in Allen who is going I be in the nhl now competeing for a starting job I believe in a year or two he will win which is the time line I have to be competitive
