Columbus sends Ennis and TB 2nd to Toronto in exchange for Plekanec, Jordie Benn, and Winnipeg 2nd. Toronto was out and about when this deal was struck, so he will confirm later.

Columbus gets older, but the organization wanted an established center. Benn gives us added depth on the back end too. Plus, his brother, was pushing us to bring the elder Benn to Columbus.

i confirm, losing plekanecs faceoffs hurts but i had some center depth so i made the move for ennis and gained some youth and always nice to pick up players who add faceoffs the the wing position.
Jordie benn was a interesting piece. close to half the league inquired about him which surprised me. but no real significant offers came from it.
nice easy transaction and i think both teams win.
