Buffalo makes this trade to gain the all-important FOW. RJ is top ten (or so) in FOW and assists. BUF also gains SOG, plus a huge upgrade for a dman.
It's tough to trade Hall and Simmonds, but with playoffs coming up, Simmonds might be out for two weeks of them, so Kane is a nice addition and he's younger.
Hall is a great scorer, so I'm probably selling high, but maybe this is the player he really is. Hard to tell.
Gourde is having a better season than Fischer, and both are minor-eligible, but Fischer is also younger by five years. Both guys have upside.
I believe Simmonds is the last remaining player from my roster from when I took over this team a number of years ago
