Signed, sealed, delivered. Felt I was getting the best return because let's face it; outside of some elite pieces (most of them in the latter part of their prime), I inherited a team with a bleak-looking future. Thanks to the Habs' willingness to wheel and deal, I feel I have a good chance to have a much better team in a few seasons.
Some of the easiest trading I've ever done, despite the massive talent swap.

So basically you both swapped teams lol Close hahaha Difference is, if we'd straight up swapped, I wouldn't still have Rantanen Point Puljujarvi Bjorkstrand Heiskanen as my future core  You know what's funny is we first discussed Malkin during our previous trade talks, but both figured we'd take a look at other teams/rosters to make our next deals... Ah well, nobody else stepped up on either side I guess... |

Pretty much. My average age has dropped considerably, I have two guys with great potential on deck in goal instead of two guys who average 35 years of age. If my prospects at center work out, I'll have a strong core for years. So basically you both swapped teams lol |
