St Louis has traded: G Henrik Lundqvist 2012 1st Round Pick (STL)
In exchange for: F Alex Steen G Jonathan Bernier F Philip Danault D Brandon Gormley
STL: Likes the trade because he picks up some quality prospects pieces and a reliable center
CGY: Like the deal because it provides him with a top level goaltending tandem

Confirmed. I could not pass up the opportunity at 2 elite goalies in a deep 20 team league. It hurts a little to give up a huge offensive d-man (my biggest weakness) and a young super talented goalie but a Quick/Lundqvist combo makes me really giddy. Was a pleasure doing business with STL. Very easy and very professional.

Do you guys want this passed for tonight or tomorrow? Once games start, it has to wait.

Well Gormley isn't THAT offensive, Steen is average, Bernier has had his chance to take over in LA and won't start full-time until he's traded. And then there's Danault who isn't worth a 1st.

thx for your input. but I am going to side witht he majority on this one. Keep in mind that every GM attributes different worth to different players. What you think of a player, does not mean that I think the same.

I believe Bernier will be a starter, and a good one, and Danault actually was a first rounder, as well as the best defensive forward in the Q while still posting ppg numbers... agree to disagree I guess NYI...
