I see what you're saying, but it feels wrong to set rules based on people quitting... Some people are happy with their draft position, some people aren't, that's the nature of random draft orders...

I mean don't get me wrong, I know who I want at 19. And I'm not a guy who only knows the big names, the "smaller names" is where I will make my mark. I'm just saying for other teams sake. I'd personally rather have 19th in both if I have it in regular draft.

^ I don't mind picking first twice in a row either, I know I joke, but I figured I'd give others a chance who want to be first or in other places. Hell I'd actually like to go last in the next draft

One question concerning in-activity, we have all seen it before when a guy doesn't make his pick within the time limit and hasn't sent a PM to commish or mod, now what are we going to do about this if and when it happens? Take a vote on who should be picked maybe 3 mod's to confirm or something of that nature?

Im a fan of just giving them the next highest scorer from the past season, like was suggested earlier.
And as far as the prospect draft, I have pick 10, so I would stay in the exact same spot again, dead centre. Cool with me, but if you guys want to re-lotto it, Im fine with that too.

Dunno if this has been asked -- too much to sort through. What's the rule on selecting prospects in the main draft? Does a guy have to have appeared in the NHL to be drafted in the main draft?

If a player has 42 games played or more he can be selected in the main draft.

If he has played in 41 games or less he has to be selected in the prospect draft.

If he has played in 41 games or less he has to be selected in the prospect draft. Hey guys serious proposition here. I really think we should lower the GP for goalies as 41 is too high. Certain young goalies all have over 30 games but below 41.... and definetly are NOT prospects.... they are long passed that stage, i really think 20 or 25 games and under for goalies makes a whole lot more sense than the current amount. There is no way these guys shouldnt be available for the draft. EDIT: Same goes with others..... who have played between 20 and 25 games , all these guys should be available for the pro draft..... goalies are a different beast than players, players tend to go up and down, goalies develop in the minors and then move straight up, nowhere near as much flip flopping. The games limit for tenders NEEDS to be lower.

^ I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
We'll throw it to Hocus when he gets back.
